Part of the �Golden Triangle�, a large 367,000 square mile area in which opium grows wild. This area includes portions of Burma, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand
Guerrillas from various ethnic groups use other nations as safe havens. Many of the ethnic guerrilla groups have secret training camps in the various countries that border Myanmar.
